We are more than happy to set up business accounts subject to the usual credit checks and your acceptance of our standard Account Terms & Conditions. Please telephone or e-mail us for an application form and a copy of our Account & Hire T&Cs.
Collection and drop off times must be between 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday.
We accept all major credit cards underwritten by MasterCard and Visa, but with apologies we do not take American Express or Diners Club cards.
Our hire rates include unlimited mileage, which means that you can drive as much as you want. However, we recommend that no individual driver be at the wheel for extended periods and / or without taking appropriate rest.
As indicated on the Self-Drive page, our hire charges exclude VAT and insurance (where applicable). You also have the option of paying an additional premium to reduce the insurance excess. There will be a charge for us to deliver &/or collect your hire vehicle if you cannot collect or return your EV.
Other charges may apply if you have any special requirements but these are discretionary and, wherever possible, we shall do our utmost either to waive these or keep them to an absolute minimum.
A tyre damage waiver of £3.00 per day (non Vatable) and screen damage waiver of £3.00 per day (non Vatable) will occur, should the cars be returned with any of the above.
5 years if hiring a Tesla, Jaguar I-Pace or an Audi e-tron.
3 years if hiring a BMW i3, Renault ZOE or a Kia e-Niro.
It may be possible, depending upon how many points you have and what you accrued them for. Please call our team and we will do our level best to find a way to accommodate you.
30 years old and over for Tesla, Jaguar and Audi hire, 21 years old and over for a BMW i3, Renault ZOE and Kia e-Niro hire.
The answer is yes, provided you have all of the following:
- You have your own insurance and include EVision on the policy as the car owner, and:
- You provide us with a £2,000 deposit, refundable when the vehicle is properly returned, and:
- You have no more than 6 points on your licence.
- Must have held a driving licence for 5 years or more.
If you are not able to provide details for all of the above, unfortunately you will be unable to hire the car from EVision.
We usually keep a couple of vehicles in reserve to cover this eventuality, to avoid disappointing our other clients.
In the event that you should need to extend your hire, or find yourself unable to return your EV when due, please contact our team as soon as possible by calling the number given above or by emailing us.
Please also be aware that this may incur additional charges.
Yes you may. Please note, however, that you leave your vehicle at our premises at your own risk and we cannot accept any responsibility for its safe-keeping; nor can we accept liability for any damage it may sustain whilst left in our car park.
When hiring a car from EVision Electric Vehicle Hire, we will require 3 things from you:
- Letter showing your full name and full address i.e. utility bill / phone bill
- Your vehicle licence check code, generated via the DVLA website
- A photocopy of your driving licence
If you do not hold a British Driving License, then you would need to send us a photocopy of the front and back of your driving licence initially. We would then get this checked over with our own insurance company to ensure you can indeed hire the vehicle. We would let you know as soon as we have heard back from the insurance company.
Initially, we would have to carry out some standard procedure checks. If approved, please kindly note there may be an additional cost on the insurance if you are taking the vehicle outside of the UK.

Yes. We value and believe in rewarding our regular and repeat customers' loyalty. Similarly, we also believe in discounting multiple chauffeur bookings. Please contact our team and tell them what you need and rest assured that they will do their very best to accommodate you.
To avoid disappointment, the earlier you can book your self-drive or chauffeur hire, the better. That said, we usually keep a couple of our EVs in reserve to cover late vehicle returns and last minute bookings. At short notice, we may not always be able to provide a specifically-requested EV or to accommodate any particular chauffeur requirements you may have, but generally speaking it has not been unknown for us to provide our vehicles and services with little more than an hour’s notice.
Our executive chauffeur service is available for ports’ transfers, pick-ups and drop-offs – London & South-East only, serving: Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, London City, Southend and Luton airports, Battersea Heliport, Dover and Southampton docks.
In time-honoured tradition your chauffeur will be waiting for you in the Arrivals area, displaying a signboard bearing your name.
Very occasionally, of course, your chauffeur may be delayed by heavy traffic, a motorway accident or closure for some other reason; when possible, your chauffeur will call your mobile phone to advise you if there is going to be any potential delay in picking you up. In the very unlikely event that you are unable to find your chauffeur and have not heard from him/her, please either have airport services page him/her, or call our offices on 01634 914 063. We do stress, however, that these occurrences are very rare.
First of all, do not panic or concern yourself, should this happen. We are here to work with you and fully appreciate that circumstances beyond your control can easily affect the best-laid plans. Simply tell us as soon as possible, via e-mail or telephone, and we will happily amend/update your chauffeur booking accordingly.
While it would be foolish to guarantee this, we constantly monitor our clients’ flights arrival times online and devote our best endeavours to ensure that your chauffeur is there waiting for you, no matter how early (or late) your flight may arrive.
As with the answer to the previous question, sometimes circumstances (road traffic accidents, breakdowns, road closures, etc) may conspire to keep your chauffeur from arriving on time and it would therefore be foolish to guarantee something which may be beyond our reasonable control. Should this happen with your booking we will of course notify you and keep you apprised of the situation. Do rest assured, however, that this rarely happens and it is our usual custom to arrive early and be waiting to meet you.
