CAN I SET UP AN ACCOUNT?

We are more than happy to set up business accounts subject to the usual credit checks and your acceptance of our standard Account Terms & Conditions. Please telephone or e-mail us for an application form and a copy of our Account & Hire T&Cs.

WILL I DEFINITELY RECEIVE THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE I HAVE ENQUIRED ABOUT?

Please note we use a live online booking system whereby clients are able to book and pay for electric car hire or electric van hire via our website.
The electric vehicle you have requested is not reserved and booked until payment has been made.
To ensure the electric vehicles you are interested in is reserved and booked for your specific dates, please reply with your requested documents and payment, as soon as possible.

WHAT TIME OF THE DAY CAN I COLLECT / DROP OFF THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE?

EVision’s standard opening hours are as follows:
Mon – Fri: 0800 – 1800 hrs.
Saturday and Sunday: Out of hours (Appointment Only) Fees Apply.

If you would like to collect/drop off an electric vehicle outside of these hours there will be a £25+VAT charge.

Any hires made through EVision are based on a 24 hour period. If you’re unsure of times, or would like to enquire about hire times prior to booking, please give the team a call on 01634 914063.

WILL I INCUR A LATE RETURN PENALTY IF THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE IS RETURNED LATE?

Unfortunately we would be required to charge a late return fee if a vehicle is returned after the stated time of the hire.

You will need to calculate and plan your charging route with as much care as you plan your road route before you set off. Chargers may be broken or not in use, and you could find yourself trapped or stuck with a slow charger and not be able to get the car back within the hire period and incur the late return penalty.

We always recommend choosing a charging area where there is more than one charging venue, so you have 2 additional places to try. Familiarise yourself with the ZapMap app a few days before you travel. It will take time to understand the meaning and significance of the icons and their relationship to the car you hire and your journey.

DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?

We accept all major credit cards underwritten by MasterCard and Visa, but with apologies we do not take American Express or Diners Club cards.

IS THERE A MILEAGE LIMIT?

*All Hires: Fair Usage Policy applies. See Terms & Conditions.

Electric vehicle hires for less than 12 months benefit from 150 miles usage per day.

Rentals of 12 months + are subject to 10,000 miles per annum / pro rata.

ARE THERE ANY OTHER CHARGES IN ADDITION TO EVISION ELECTRIC VEHICLES BASIC SELF-DRIVE HIRE RATES?

As indicated on the Self-Drive page, our hire charges include VAT but not insurance (where applicable). You also have the option of paying an additional premium to reduce the insurance excess. There will be a charge for us to deliver &/or collect your hire vehicle if you cannot collect or return your EV.

Other charges may apply if you have any special requirements but these are discretionary and, wherever possible, we shall do our utmost either to waive these or keep them to an absolute minimum.

A tyre damage waiver of £4.00 per day (non Vatable) and screen damage waiver of £4.00 per day (non Vatable) will occur, should the cars be returned with any of the above.

Should a customer wish to cancel their electric vehicle hire, we are happy to accommodate this prior to the booking day, however there is a cancellation fee of £40 that will be applied.

WHAT IS YOUR COVID-19 POLICY?

DRIVE SAFE, CLEAN AND GO GREEN

Our team is supporting all Electric Vehicle rental and delivery requirements. EVision are ready and available, from all of our locations across the UK, for those seeking to avoid public transport and minimize the risk of exposure to others but instead travel safe and protected.

Extra measures are in place which includes the sanitisation of our vehicles and contactless online bookings & payments.

As people refrain from using public transport and instead use other means, clients can be safe in the knowledge that using an electric car is less likely to cause the spread of the virus, and also assist in helping to reduce one’s carbon footprint.

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced us to reconsider and question what we had accepted as normal. There have been many negatives, but one significant positive has been the cleaner air in our cities resulting from forced lock-downs and travel restrictions. At EVision, we’ve always known that emission free driving is the future and now we hope that more and more people, having seen the benefits, can try it for themselves and make the switch.
